On April 16, 2002, four tornadoes damaged the homes of many low-income families in East Fort Worth, Texas. 53 restaurants donated food as The Fort Worth HOPE Center became the Command Center to address the immediate and urgent needs of the community.
…the National Weather Service in Fort Worth conducted a survey of the damage caused by the tornadoes in Tarrant County.
A total of four separate tornado tracks were found as the storm tracked from near Everman to east Fort Worth.
