Our vision of success is that “The Fort Worth HOPE Center inspires HOPE and provides resources for children and families to build happy, healthy, successful lives and communities.”
To enable the needy to overcome poverty through satisfaction of their basic needs and affording them the opportunity to grow and to be self sufficient.
This is done by collaborating with community businesses and organizations to provide:
- Food for the hungry
- School of HOPE – vocational job training and job placement
- Dental care – Restoring SMILES by replacing missing or broken Teeth in our Smile Center.
To build strong children and families enabled to break the cycle of poverty in their lives by providing:
H – Help in understanding their potential in life because God created them with purpose.
O – Opportunity for vocational training for employment and food to feed their families while they are being trained
P – Purpose in life is discovered and a Passion to fulfill that purpose, as they are trained for a vocation and find employment
E – Empowered to become all that they were created to become, because they have experience being loved and accepted at the Fort Worth HOPE Center, regardless of their background and their past.
We do this by serving food to more than 75,000 people annually in Fort Worth and over 350 students who are certified for employment and enter the workforce and over 80 individuals have had their smiles restored through our Smile Center.
