The HOPE Center is Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Did you know–in the DFW Metroplex alone–1 of every 4 children is suffering from hunger, and more than 640,000 people are living in poverty?
The HOPE Center fights hunger by distributing food throughout the Metroplex. We also feed HOPE by preparing people for new, or better, jobs by providing high-demand educational courses, several job certification programs and life-changing dental services.
In 2010, the HOPE Center provided food to more than 100,000 people! In the last six months, we’ve helped place more than 50 people in new jobs!
We are really cranking it up this year. We are:
- Adding additional job certification programs
- Expanding our warehouse management capabilities, and
- Implementing new technologies
We are Fighting Hunger by providing the basic necessities of food and clothing. We are Feeding Hope by providing health services, volunteer opportunities, training, education, and job placement.
