Women in the Forklift Industry!
Did you know that the women in the Dallas Fort Worth Area are finding opportunities to become a qualified "skilled" employee through our School of HOPE's OSHA Compliance Forklift School.
Women who have never driven a forklift in their lives, are taking our forklift training and going out and landing jobs that pay between $13.75 to $17.00 an hour and they LOVE their jobs! How is that possible? Listen to what one of our women shared in the video below.
Kim Strider was hired after she successfully demonstrated that she could safely and confidentially drive the Narrow Aisle Reach Forklift. It is the most difficult forklift to drive, but because of the training that she received in our School of HOPE Forklift School, after she demonstrated that she knew how to drive it so successfully, she was hired on the spot! Her starting pay was $13.75 and hour....with NO previous experience!! This is REAL hope for individuals who have been stuck in low paying jobs with no feeling of satisfaction in their work. We prepare our students to become a "skilled" employee which will bring "operational excellence" for their new employer. Congratulations Kim for your accomplishments!
