"It's a great day at the Fort Worth HOPE Center! How may we help you?" This is what you will hear when you call the Fort Worth HOPE Center. So what are our "services"? The Fort Worth HOPE Center "Fights Hunger.....Feeds HOPE" in the lives of thousands of families every year. Listen in the videos below how people are being blessed and finding HOPE!
Fight HUNGER Services:
Food Distribution Schedule:
Fridays - 9:00 till Noon - Every week we provide enough food for a week to families in need. We also give "extra" so everyone can go away with "more than enough" so they can become "givers" too. Everyone wants to be significant in the lives of others, so by our giving "more than enough" everyone has the opportunity of becoming significate to someone in need as they give food to them out of their abundance.
Thursdays - 1:00 to 3:00 we take our Reefer Truck into Fort Worth Public Housing Projects and other low-income apartment complexes to give out food to some of the neediest families in Fort Worth. We have been blessed by our food vendors to have wonderful fresh and frozen foods to provide nourishing foods to these Families. They are SO grateful we come.
Every Thanksgiving and Christmas the Fort Worth HOPE Center's has an "Adopt a Family" outreach program that gives individuals all over the USA an opportunity to bless poor families during the Holiday Season. For only $25 afamily over 1000 poor families are blessed each year with an abundance of Holiday foods so they can sit around their table with their families and serve a delicious Holiday meal with extras leftover! It's time to enjoy being together as a family knowing they were provided for by people who care about them. It's a time to enjoy good food and fellowship and making memories with the people they love.
Those who provided their food have a great blessing from the Lord provided to them! Ps. 41:1, "Oh, the JOYS of thosewho are KIND to the poor! The Lord "rescues" them in times of trouble." I call this "God's Insurance" ...if you are Kind to the Poor...the Lord has your back in times of trouble.
